Priority Services Register (PSR)
For those eligible, the Priority Services Register is a free, confidential service that provides extra help from utility providers during power, gas, or water outages. Depending on your needs, this can include direct emergency updates, priority bottled water deliveries, or emergency power support if you rely on medical devices.
You can sign up if you or someone in your household:
Relies on medical equipment (e.g., oxygen concentrators, dialysis machines, or stairlifts)
Has a long-term medical condition, disability, or mental health condition
Has reached state pension age
Is pregnant, or have children under 5 or babies in the home
Has additional communication or access requirements
Registration is free.
Carers, family members, and neighbours can also sign up on behalf of someone they support.
